How to Start Your Own Business: Facebook for Small Business? PDF Print E-mail
Business StartupSeriously, who could have known that cloth hangers could make you a cool $30 million dollars or quitting your day job would help you fuel your passion and turn it into a $60 million dollars business?

Majority of millionaires out there enjoy what they are doing and most of their business ideas are based on their passion. For example,

1. Donald Trump loves real estate and he’s one of the best real estate developers in the world

2. Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google in their garage as a research project: Google is now worth billions of dollars

3. Gordon Ramsay the utterly foul mouthed chef from Hell’s Kitchen is worth approximately £60million

The key point here is that if you want to start your own business: Make sure that you are passionate about it!

Capitalize the Web Advertising Industry: One of the Most Lucrative Markets of the 21st Century PDF Print E-mail

Money MarketI remember when I was a newbie and during that time I was attending various talks, forums and seminars on how to build a successful business, the ingredients of success and what are the most promising industries out there to venture in – it finally hit my head that the online advertising industry was gargantuan.

Never did I know that by doing paid posts, selling links online and earning from PayPerClick programs, are little building blocks to a much larger industry and that is the online advertising industry.

Someone mentioned that traditional or conventional advertising agencies are not really focusing on the online market and that majority of their operation focuses on conventional advertisements – by TV, radio, newspaper, magazines, etc… If you sit down, relax and give a serious thought and ask this question: Who are the largest online advertising firm? Indeed, it comprises Google, Yahoo! Microsoft and other much smaller players such as individual website or blog owners who sell advertisement spots on their site – which isn’t linked to any conventional advertising firms.

Sure enough, people are willing to spend cold hard cash in marketing efforts – just to capture as much market share as they possibly could, which practically is also the Holy Grail in running a successful online business.

Looking for Contractors in Malaysia: Remodeling A Half A Million Dollar House PDF Print E-mail
Past few days, I have been busy planning how to remodel my new home that me and my brother bought for a whopping RM525,000 ($158,000USD). I think we bought the house at a bargained price as normally a 4,400 square feet home around KL would cost more than half a million – in the region of 600k-800k ish. A bungalow lot on the other hand reaches millions.

I used to play The Sims many years back and I believe it is a good software/game to give you a rough idea on how you should remodel your home. I came up with this design –

Sim House Design

Sim City Design

What I like the most in this design is the front entrance – there would be two solid doors with oval glass in the middle while another two 7-8 feet glass panels would be located at both sides of the door. The glass panels would have nice wrought iron with flower designs and it will look simply stunning at night! Remodeling the house would cost another $280,000 on top of the money that we have paid for the house.

If YOU are a contractor in Malaysia who wants the job – kindly contact me to quote me a price. Click here to email me ASAP.

Thanks!

Advertisement Blunder: Adwords and BlogCatalog Marketing Campaigns PDF Print E-mail
Adwords Marketing Campaign:

I have been marketing my site using Adwords for 10 days ending November 10 – so how did it go? One word – Expensive!

Paying RM0.52 cents for a web hit is too expensive – at least in Malaysia. When converted to US currency it’s roughly $0.15 per hit. If you are living in US, Europe or UK, I bet that this is darn cheap but for the price that I’m paying, I don’t think that it is worth it.

Throughout my marketing campaign, Adwords sent me 265 clicks to my site which totaled RM137.68. Look at the screenshot below:

Adwords Campaign

My 1 cent: I rather spend my money someplace else such as purchasing paid reviews from other sites rather than paying one lump sum to Google. I believe that Social Media Marketing on the other hand is much more effective as the hits are natural and it’s free.

BlogCatalog Campaign:

On the other hand, I paid $25 bucks to be listed on BlogCatalog for a month. BlogCatalog is a PR7 site with an Alexa rank of 1,400++. I was attracted to the amount of traffic going through the site but to my disappointment, none of these traffic were diverted to my site.

BlogCatalog Traffic

I was expecting BlogCatalog to give me at least 100-200 hits on my first week, but so far according to my customized web stats software – they hardly contributed more than 15 unique hits. However, I noticed when you do a search on Google using ‘Make Money Online Malaysia’, you’ll see my site listed in the top 10 list under BlogCatalog.

My 2 cents: $25 bucks without any traffic coming to my site is plain stupid (yeah I’m really stupid in this case).

Concluding using my 3 cents:

1. Never advertise on BlogCatalog – even when they say they have a monthly traffic exceeding 1 million hits per month.

2. Google Adwords is cheap when you are advertising in the US, UK or EU. Unless you have cash to burn, try using other advertising networks or try using social media sites which is free.

On my previous evil backlink post:

Edward said don’t use the evil plan too often while xBrain recommends using commenthunt.com to check blogs with PR and ‘do follow’ tag.

Mani Karthik on the other hand thinks it’s pure evil but it does not have effect on my ‘Google juice’.

You comment, I follow! What are your thoughts?

TechCrunch Speculates ETrade Bankruptcy and Paid Posting Networks Stop Using Mass Payment? PDF Print E-mail
I got a shock of my life when I read one of TechCrunch’s post written by Duncan Riley speculating that E*Trade might head to the deadpool. Nevertheless, I used E*Trade’s system to check out on their stocks and their share prices dipped to an all time low of $3.50 per share. This is the first time in 5 years that their shares dipped this low. I shot to the nearest ATM to withdraw my cash just in case the speculation was right. Take a look at the screenshot below on their share prices:

Etrade Shares

Today, I checked on their stocks again and luckily it was back up to $5 a share – a HUGE relief for me. I have been using E*Trade for quite sometime now and so far it’s an A++ service.

You can follow up the latest news on E*Trade by Google news search or read Duncan Riley's post on Techcrunch here.

On the other hand, I noticed PayPal has been deducting service fees from my incoming transactions for the past 2 days. It seems that according to the author of MyOrganicIncome.com, some of these paid blogging programs such as PayPerPost, Blogsvertise, etc have stop using mass payment – resulting a small percentage of the payment being deducted as a service fees. You can read MyOrganicIncome’s post here - there’s a guideline on how to downgrade your account from Premier to Personal Account.

However, when I check my PayPal today and none of my incoming payments were deducted anymore. Take a look at the screenshot below:

Rally by Oppositions Turned Ugly in Malaysia PDF Print E-mail
Malaysian FlagI caught a glimpse of action on what happened on Saturday, 10th November 2007 at SeayKopitiam.com. The roads were clogged with cars – luckily I didn’t have any urgent matter to attend to. I believe that the owner of the site is an American who lives abroad and not a Malaysian. I think that it’s a fabulous post by Seay/Jamy but I just can’t seem to agree on some of the comments by he/she. For example,

1. NOBODY is being oppressed by ANYONE here in Malaysia. Everyone has a fair chance of voting every 5 years and every vote counts. It’s not like the Chinese or Indians are beaten everyday and their properties/cars/home are confiscated by the government or probably the government feels like doing a genocide because ‘they feel like it’ – NOTHING like that ever happened before (at least in my lifetime). In fact there are lots of wealthy Chinese and Indians and Malays living happily in Malaysia and NONE of them are being killed because they are wealthy or because of their race.

2. Malaysia will never be like America – You got that right. I don’t think that we will be anywhere near US in terms of economics, military might and quality of life. At least we have a vision to bring our nation to the next level.

3. Indonesian Chinese are being oppressed – Like I say, there are no senseless killing anywhere in the country (this is MALAYSIA, not Indonesia, it’s two different country). No genocide, no people strapping bombs on themselves and blowing everything up into bits and pieces – NOTHING

I know you love America – it’s a great country and I agree with you (I read and watched a library full of your history and WW2 all my life so don’t underestimate what I know). But so far, I’ve been living here for 26 (coming 27) years and all these years have been really peaceful. There are no war, no coup, no natural disaster – it’s really a great country.

But what I know is that people still think Malaysians are living in a jungle and they can’t seem to even point out where Malaysia is on the map. What you see and what you think might not be necessarily true… rather than looking at videos on YouTube I rather challenge you to come live in Malaysia and tell me what you think?

At least I am one happy Chinese Malaysian. Malaysia Boleh!

BS – Just can’t stand people branding Malaysians as barbarians – You don’t even live in this country!

Disclaimer: During the publication of this article, I am not in favor of any political parties in Malaysia nor to cause distress to anyone. There are no racist agenda - just to point out how I feel being a Malaysian.

My Quest To Tap On The Power of Sex! Let Google Unleash the Fury PDF Print E-mail
Sexy Milla JovovichSomehow, I believe that there are still doubts that sex does work when it comes to attracting traffic. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not the pioneer of this nor do I have huge success over the matter.

I have decided to increase my crummy unique hits over my website from 80/90-ish uniques per day to possibly 1,000 uniques by Christmas. My tactics –

1. Change my site’s title from ‘Michael Woo Business Ideas Tech Make Money Online Malaysian News Blog’

TO

‘Michael Woo Business News Make Money Online Malaysia Sex Blog’

I have decided to forgo the word ‘Tech’ because it has no significance when it comes to search engine traffic. I’m targeting ‘Malaysia Sex Blog’ traffic and hopefully Google will list my site as number 1 – there is no direct hit on the number 1 spot yet by other blogs.

2.Delete MichaelWoo.net from my current MyBlogLog account and create a new account with a nice sexy picture. If you don’t believe that I have got 3,000 page views, take a look at the screenshot below (I got more than 3,900 page views)

MyBlogLog PageView

3. Disguise myself as a sexy vixen in forums, social media sites, etc…

Here are my thoughts on some pressing issues:

1. On credibility – Adam said that it might affect my credibility in the long run which I totally agree. But if this works and I get enormous traffic, I think that would be a higher priority

2. On blog ethics – There would be no ‘pornographic’ pictures on my blog, just sexy ones and comments are most welcome.

3. On creating a sustainable relationship with other blogs – I bet that this would be a hot topic to discuss as it’s general and it’s also basic knowledge.

Last but not least, I might fail miserably and here are some things that are at stake:

1. Credibility
2. Traffic
3. Reader’s loyalty
4. Friends or Foes
5. Heavy criticism

The bet is high and here are some comments on my previous post:

xBrain and Edward got huge success when they used a sexy picture as their MyBlogLog avatar.

Wayne Liew sees this as a huge gold mine while Adam thinks that it will hurt your credibility in the long run.

Preblogging on the other hand would like to ‘spice up’ her MyBlogLog profile.

Click Result Confirms That Sex Sells: Sexy Pictures Increases Web Hits PDF Print E-mail
My previous post on Sex sells dont you think? Debunking the Myth of Using Sexuality to Gain Traffic shows that sex sells – it really increases web hits when you put a pretty or sexy picture on your social profile.

Intentionally I placed an incredibly sexy photo of a beautiful Japanese model and surprisingly, 51 people actually clicked on the photo! Look at the screen shot of my site’s page impression counter:

Web Hits Stats

According to my web stats on SiteMeter, I had 184 unique hits on 7th and 8th November 2007. 51 people out of 184 actually clicked on the picture which is a staggering 27.71%! This means that 1 out of 3 people who visited this site actually clicked on that sexy photo!

SiteMeter Stats

Although this test is not 100% accurate, somehow it does show that sex does play its role in our community. On the other hand, this creates more questions on my head:

1. Would sex be more effective than social media marketing?

2. Is it TABOO to talk about sex?

3. How do you incorporate sex into blogging without offending the community?

On my previous post:

kljs, Jean and Anna agrees that sex sells and that people are more inclined to click on sexy pictures.

Great Seducer on the other hand targets horny people while KimFei won't cheat on his site's visitors.

This Is How We Celebrate Deepavali In Malaysia (by doing something stupid): Happy Deepavali! PDF Print E-mail
Happy Deepavali everyone! Today is one of the auspicious days for Indians worldwide as they celebrate a joyous moment once a year which is called Deepavali. Chinese have Chinese New Year, Muslims celebrates Hari Raya and Christians have Christmas while the Indians celebrate Deepavali.

I had the honor of being invited by a friend of mine to his house to celebrate Deepavali – we were served mutton, curry chicken, eggs and top that with a nice yellow colored rice (I forgot the name). Mutton is definitely my favorite dish on the menu and I bagged it nicely in my special compartment – my stomach.

But the most fun part was the fireworks – it has been years since I lay my hands on some, just too many years. Last but not least, this is how we have fun on Deepavali – enjoy the video and cheers!

Sex sells dont you think? Debunking the Myth of Using Sexuality to Gain Traffic PDF Print E-mail
Sex SellsI just had a flashback a while ago on a particular episode of ‘The Apprentice’ where a team of girls were going up against another team of guys. You should have guessed it – the gals did pretty well in the beginning of the show, beating the guys flat bringing shame to them – with a huge capital ‘L’ on their forehead.

But what made it interesting was that they did use sex as an advantage to help them win. For example,

1. They flirted with a guy selling gold – asking him to sell it at a lost

2. Wore sexy clothes during the opening of a restaurant to gain more customers

3. More flirtings to bend men’s will towards theirs…

You get the point?

Months back, I did use their strategy to help me gain traffic – my results? I gained an unusually high amount of traffic for that particular period. I placed a beautiful Asian girl as my portrait on MyBlogLog and oh my, people started adding me into their profile. I got over 3000 page views on my profile for that month which was generously diverted to my blogs (some still think that I’m a female money blogger).

If you are feeling pretty evil (like me) – try adding beautiful pictures of girls on MyBlogLog and see whether this is a myth or would it actually WORK?!

What are your thoughts?

Cheers!

List of Social Media Sites: Sites Where You Can Submit Your Articles and Gain Free Traffic PDF Print E-mail
Social MediaSince there is a huge buzz regarding Social Media Marketing, I thought of listing a few social media sites which you can use to list your articles and get free web hits. On the other hand, it’s pretty complicated when you want to market your articles on Social Media sites – most of these sites won’t allow you to submit your own blog content, you get banned from doing so. One of the famous sites that frequently does this is Digg.

I believe that you need to spend some time to gain trust with the people who are actively participating on social media sites. Once you get that, you’ll see almost each and every article of yours being listed on the site – and with loads of votes as well. What you want is to build a sustainable relationship with other bloggers – it’s like you help me, I help you, both in a win-win situation.

Here are some of the social media sites which you can try out. Just a word of caution, some of these sites are topic specific – meaning that if it’s an IT social media site, they only allow you to post IT topic, etc… Make sure you post in the correct site so you don’t get banned!

http://digg.com/ – awesome 10,000 unique hits per hour if you appear on the main page

My Evil Master Plan to Get My Articles and Yours Of Course on Main Page of Digg, Propeller and Sphin PDF Print E-mail
Dr EvilI believe that if you read Maki’s article at DoshDosh.com about Social Media Marketing – you’ll know what means. I’m feeling pretty evil today. As you know, Digg and other sites like Propeller and Sphinn can contribute loads of traffic to your site – provided if you appear on the main page with lots of votes.

Here’s my master plan:

1. I’m looking for 1,000,000 people to join me in this scheme. Criteria to join:

i. You love traffic

ii. You want huge amount of traffic to your site monthly

iii. You don’t mind clicking on a simple ‘vote’ button to get loads of traffic (and to the people whom you are helping)

2. Post a reply on this article together with the link to your Digg/Sphinn/Propeller/etc and whoever visits this article, please vote for the article by clicking on the link

3. If this works out, in the future, I’ll open up a private forum where everyone can sign up and vote each other’s article - without Digg, etc even knowing what's happening!

2. Use dashes and underscores in the URLs to separate the words

3. Name categories after the keywords that you are chasing

4. Merge your www.yoursite.com and yoursite.com

5. Make a buzz on the net and Google will notice you

6. Avoid .biz and .info type of domains

Marketing on Adwords is Darn Expensive!: Is it worth it? PDF Print E-mail
One way to gain traffic to your site is to use Adwords. I believe that when you get your own web hosting services, they’ll probably throw in a couple of advertising coupons to sweeten the deal. I got my $25 Google Adwords coupon to get started with. Not only I don’t need to pay for the activation fees of $5, I got $20 worth of free credit to market my blog.

Adwords SecretI think that lots of blogs have Adsense installed and this gives you a huge potential of redirecting traffic from specific sites to yours. However, Adwords is not for everyone. $20 bucks worth of free credits can’t do nuts. Most of the keywords on ‘make money online’ or similar ones require you to put at least $0.20 per click to activate it. $20 divided by $0.20 is only 100 clicks.

If you are tight on budget or rather just started to learn how to make money online, then I suggest that you can forget about using Adwords (you still can get the free 100 clicks though). But if you are John Chow – he spends $600 per month on his previous Adwords campaign.

I have reasons to believe that most of the clicks that are coming to your site – are just one time visits. You’ll have to spend a lump sum to gain ‘quality traffic’.

Well there’s always Social Media Marketing – you can read DoshDosh’s article on it. Cheers and have a great day!

Google, Yahoo, Microsoft All Eyeing the Big Pie in the Online Advertising Industry PDF Print E-mail
Google AdwordsI had a chit chat with a friend of mine (and of course the usual beer) around a field near where he stayed which is exactly 15 minutes away from my home. It struck my mind that in fact the online advertising industry is enormous! It never crossed my mind that it is a billion dollar industry where anyone could enter and grab their own piece of pie.

I believe that online advertising could still be grouped into a niche market – because conventional advertising agencies are simply not monetizing this huge opportunity.

1. If you take a look at our local satellite TV service, they focus on media advertising.

2. The daily newspaper you see every morning focuses on ads on their newspaper.

3. Advertisers purchases ad spots on huge advertising billboards around the city – and they spend big money for it.

4. Your favorite radio channel also sells time slots for ads.

AdcenterBut none of these advertising agencies has an online portal which brokers online advertisements. Of course there are many successful online advertisement brokers such as

1. Google Adwords, Yahoo Publisher Network, Microsoft AdCenter – selling links which redirects to your site

2. Text Link Ads, TextLink Brokers, LinkXL, etc – selling link ads

3. PayPerPost, ReviewMe, SponsoredReviews – selling links on paid posts

I still think that you can make lots of money in the online advertising industry and I want my fair share of the pie :). What do you think?

What Happened to Technorati? Did They Just Die Silently? PDF Print E-mail

TechnoratiMonths ago when I just started blogging for money, Technorati was one of the hottest topics people talked about in blogs – So what actually happened to them? Did they die silently?

When it comes to ranking – everyone wants to be in the top 10 list and that includes the Technorati rank. The higher your blog appear on the list, the more free traffic that your blog would get – it’s as simple as that. But one thing that makes Technorati different is that you’ll need blogs linking back to yours to gain ‘Authority’. The more Authority you have, the higher the ranking.

It seems someone manipulated the system by creating a widget that was able to list thousands of links on all the blogs that were participating in the program. Technorati simply penalized all the sites that were involved – end of story.

Of late, I don’t see any news appearing on blogs anymore. If you have read my previous article about ‘Bad Press Gets You Hits: Web Hits That Is’ – I guess that Technorati simply ran out of ‘Bad Press’ from the public.

PS - I would appreciate it if you would link back or Fav my blog :) Thanks a million!!

Bad Press Gets You Hits: Web Hits That Is PDF Print E-mail

Good or Evil

Ever wonder why some bloggers are simply hot heads on everything that they write? It’s simple – bad press gets you web hits! The idea is really simple – open your daily newspaper and seriously look at the news. Judge by yourself on the good press:bad press ratio. I bet you $100 that most of the news inside are bad.

Bad press attracts people.

Bad press gets you hot topics to discuss on.

Bad press gives you huge number of comments on your post.

Bad press gives you repeating visitors who want to follow up on the latest discussion on the ‘controversial’ topic that they are involved in.

Get the idea? But too much bad press is BAD. You make enemies and worst of all, you loose everything.

So what kind of blogger are you? :)?

Adsense or Private Ads Sales More Profitable? PDF Print E-mail
In the past I’ve seen people sucking up to Google Adsense saying how much money they have made over this simple mechanism. However, I notice many high profile sites have begun to throw Adsense out the window and start selling their own ads.

For example, John Chow from JohnChow.com previously earned $600 a month from 3 Adsense slots. Now he’s making $7,000 on his private ads sale which is 12 times more than what he was earning from Adsense. See how he places his private ads slots on his site:

John Chow Ads

Darren Rowse from Problogger.net who is apparently a ‘pro’ Adsense guy ditched the PPC network for his own private ads sale. His reasons? You can watch one of his videos saying why he ditched Adsense ‘for a number of reasons’. The image below shows uncanny resemblance with John Chow’s site.

Problogger

TechCrunch.com is the champion of all. Their private ads sale surpasses anything that I have ever seen. Each 125x125 box is selling for $10,000 per month. And yet, I still see one Adsense slot below all the advertisements. I wonder how much they earn from this single slot.

TechCrunch

If you didn’t watch Darren’s video – the reason is simple.

1. Adsense doesn’t work on making money sites as visitors are more aware of ‘not clicking on your Adsense ads’

2. Advertisers complained that Adsense actually cheapens your site

3. Private ads are more profitable as it doesn’t really count on how many clicks that you could divert to the advertisers and yet you still get paid monthly

Cheers!

A Simple Thought About Making Money Online PDF Print E-mail

I had doubts on whether it was possible to actually make money online. Like what I said in the previous article, I had thoughts of opening an online store selling my wares. But then again on second thought, it is possible to make money online but you won’t have to sell things.

If you read today’s newspaper, Google is actually moving towards capturing a huge market share in the online advertisements arena and I believe Google Adsense is the key. But then again, I noticed that Adsense is rather sloppy and would make your site rather distasteful if you overrun your site with it.

Anyway, there are lots of ways to make money online:

1. The fast way is through paid blogging which gives you really quick money

OR

2. Selling advertisement slots on your site which is I believe is much more reliable in the long run

Paid blogging is lucrative. Imagine owning your own site selling links in the online market. PayPerPost has over 40,000 publishers on their database. Probably 30% are active – imagine how much money you could make by just selling sponsored posts? SponsoredReviews on the other hand charges a 35% commission on each sponsored post – meaning that when you complete a post at $100, $35 goes to them.

Paid Blogging

Google dislikes all these sites selling links – their excuse is that it infringes their TOS when it comes to Page Rank. How ironic, I believe that they just want the big pie for themselves.

Oh well, when there’s a will, there’s always a way to make money online. Cheers!

A Simple Article With Simple Words: Some Online Business Thoughts PDF Print E-mail
To tell you the truth, I believe that there is an infinite possibility on the things that you can do online. Every single thing that you can think of – there are ways to monetize it. In the past I wanted to establish an online e-commerce site selling my wares. Although as time passed (that was close to 10 years ago), my passion for setting up an online store has dwindled. Come to think of it, online advertisement is something rather lucrative compared to selling things online.

Corporate GirlsPast experience has thought me to do simple things rather than complicated ones. In the past I have been a

1. Macromedia Director freelancer where I completed a single project in 2 months (which was wayyyy too long by standards) and earned a meager $150 or RM500 for that entire 2 months. I had sleepless nights and I didn’t bath for a couple of days in a row. Not to mention, I didn’t even have the time to brush my teeth when I went to see my client. I considered myself being cheated for being naïve at that time.

2. Later I ventured to become a Flash freelancer – same ol same ol. Sleepless nights but the pay was better as I know how to demand more from the person who hired me. Anyway, the project was just some simple flash advertisements. (I got $350 or RM 1,200 from that project. In fact it was 2 projects where I got $350 or RM1,200 each)

3. When I graduated at the age of 24 (which was pretty old by standards), I ventured out into the corporate jungle and met managers whom I consider as gorillas then. Some are plain bullies while others are caring and supportive. Little did I know that there was a huge problem brewing in the department and waiting to explode. I narrowly escape the corporate onslaught filled with inquiries and interrogations as my contract with the company expired and I left.

Well I know some might say that I’m still young but then again I do have my fair share of experience. Personally, I think that a business should be:

SEO1. Simple – where you don’t need to do much to earn the money

2. Less hassle – where you don’t need to follow up on your clients after you have delivered the end product

3. Requires very minimal start up and maintenance – where you just need maybe a couple of dollars and turn it into thousands or probably millions and eventually the maintenance is covered by the money that you have made

4. Gives you exponential income – your income grows exponentially over time and if you are dealing in US dollars, I believe that it’s pretty lucrative judging from the exchange rate of RM3.50 per dollar

5. An international business with no boundaries

Living in Malaysia is Expensive PDF Print E-mail
Fuck You

You might not notice this and I believe that it’s a huge lie when someone says that living in Malaysia is cheap. Of course there are several things that come cheap in Malaysia but then again if you take a look at our daily necessity, it’s really a bomb to your wallet.

I’ve been hearing again and again from friends, newspaper, radio, TV, the government that living here is cheap. Think again,

1. An average fresh graduate’s pay is roughly RM1500 to RM2500. 10 years ago it was also in that region. 10 years later which is today we are still getting the same pay. Not to mention, professionals out there, yeah this includes you as well – 10 years ago you were getting an average of RM3000 to RM5000 for a senior to managerial level position. Guess what? You are still getting the same pay!

2. Apart from the never existing pay increment, you don’t even notice this – Cost of living keeps increasing! For example, 10 years ago fuel was roughly RM1 per liter. Buying a Proton car was roughly RM25,000 and above. Guess what? Fuel now is RM1.92 per liter and buying a Proton car is RM40,000 and above! Cheap car also got – neh the Iswara new model la, so lousy after using 2 years the whole damn car is rattling!

3. Everything is increasing except your pay! Buying petrol in US costs $10 per week. How bout Malaysia? RM40 to RM50 per week. Buying a nice car like Jazz is roughly $19,000 or lesser in the US. Malaysia? You earn RM2000 and you have to fork out RM100,000 and more for a damn Jazz!

Malaysians are too contented. That’s too bad. Not only lazy to do more, they don’t even realize the reality of what’s happening around them. I can tell you – this is an economic crisis and before you know it there won’t even be a middle class anymore. Like stated in the book written by Donald Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki, in the future there are only the rich and the filthy rich and the poor or hardcore poor. Still want to be where you are today?

Time to choose sides people!

Malaysians are funny lots PDF Print E-mail
If you haven’t notice, it’s always Malaysia, Malaysia, Malaysia… I went to LCCT today and some thoughts cropped up my mind. You know the funny thing? More than 10 years ago when the Subang Airport was still operational, the ‘then’ international airport has uncanny similarity with the ‘now’ LCCT.

This made me think – why the heck did Malaysia build an airport in the middle of nowhere where there are only 3 access roads to it from the city?

1. From the city to Serdang area to Nilai area using the NS-highway which takes more than 40 minutes to an hour
2. From Subang Jaya which takes 40 minutes
3. From Nilai town itself 20 to 30 minutes

You know what’s the funny thing? The terminal looks part like Subang Airport.. It’s like an upgrade and then suddenly downgrade.. and I wonder what’s next?
